Kronosaurus was a giant marine reptile from the Early Cretaceous period, around 125 to 100 million years ago. As one of the largest pliosaurs, Kronosaurus could grow up to 10 meters (33 feet) in length, making it a top predator in ancient seas. It had a short, powerful neck, a massive head, and strong jaws filled with sharp, conical teeth, perfect for hunting large prey like fish, squid, and other marine reptiles. Kronosaurus had four strong flippers that allowed it to glide through the water with speed and agility. Fossils have been found in Australia and Colombia, shedding light on its dominance in Cretaceous marine ecosystems.
